The Cybex Eagle selectorized strength line is the evolution of superior technology combined with a passion for fitness and is designed to meet the needs of the most demanding facilities and users. The Cybex Eagle Seated Leg Press features a patent pending articulating carriage design that enables the seat back to recline through the movement allowing for greater hip range of motion and hip extensor involvement.
The Cybex Eagle line is a 20-piece variable resistance strength training circuit that combines advanced technology and function, with a fresh, sophisticated, and adaptable design, including a unique, space-saving feature that allows machines to be placed back-to-back in “Logical Pairs.” Eagle machines utilize Dual Axis Technology, which allows the user to choose between a machine-defined converging arc of motion, or a user-defined arc incorporating both converging and diverging motions, as well as independent movement arms, which promote symmetrical strength development.
A Cybex Eagle Seated Leg Press is, and can best be described as follows: A Leg Press is a plate-loaded or selectorized strength station designed to work the leg muscles and is available in 45 Degree, Seated, or Horizontal configurations. The 45 Degree and Seated Leg Presses place the user in an angled or upright seated position in front of a large movable foot platform. Once the weight is loaded or selected the user places the feet shoulder width apart on the platform and pushes it away from the body by extending the knees and hips. A Horizontal Leg Press is comprised of a movable horizontal carriage with an angled head pad, pads to brace the shoulders, and a large foot plate. The user lies in a supine position with the feet placed shoulder width apart on the foot plate, creating a 90 degree angle between the calves and Hamstrings, and lifts the loaded or selected weight by pushing against the plate.
